Our Department is fully equipped to give Quality services right from the time when you are thinking of having a baby (pre conceptional period), throughout the pregnancy and delivery, and during the post delivery period. We have facilities for conducting all required tests during pregnancy including those required for High Risk pregnancies.
Our labor room is State of art, fully equipped with the latest monitoring devices for both the mother and Fetus. And we have adequate and well experienced and trained labor room staff. Our department promotes vaginal normal delivery, but in case Caesarean section is needed, we have a state of the art Emergency Operation Theatre always available manned by adequately trained staff and a senior well experienced Anesthetist is always available.
Our Labor room is backed by a very good Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for those babies who may require NICU care like babies who are born prematurely, babies of diabetic mother etc.
Gynecology take care of Women’s health.
The Gynecology department at Dr Chauhan Sanjeevani Hospital is fully equipped to deal with all problems relating to Women’s health like menstrual abnormalities, tumors arising from the Uterus (Fibroids), ovarian cysts and tumors, polycystic ovaries (PCOD), Ectopic pregnancy, prolapse of the uterus. Some of the surgeries we regularly do include Hysterectomy (both abdominal and vaginal), Myomectomy (removal of the fibroid only, but preserving the uterus), Ovarian cystectomy (removal of the cyst only from the ovary, but preserving the ovary), oophorectomy, vaginal vault suspension, surgery for urinary incontinence etc.
Our operation theatre is state of the art, fully equipped and with well experienced trained staff. High risk patients (that is those who are having high BP, Diabetes and Heart problems) have special monitoring in the operation theatre and we have very good Medical and Surgical ICU backups for those who may require them.
Most of the cancers are completely curable if detected at an early stage especially cervical cancer. PAPS SMEAR which help in the early detection of cervical cancer is done regularly in our hospital. Post-menopausal patients with bleeding from vagina are at risk of endometrial cancer and they are advised to consult their doctor for further evaluation.
For those patients who are having difficulty in conceiving, we have all facilities for work up of such couples.
We have facilities for IUI (Intra Uterine Insemination), which we do regularly with good success rates.
